Bio: Pandora Hobby holds a BA in Cultural Anthropology with a minor in Women’s Studies (99), as well as an MA in Educational Studies (21). From 1996 on she has both shown her work and held/cleaved space for others to show their work in community .
Since the late 90s Pandora has created ad hoc learning environments ( initially at exhibitions and craft fairs) by workshopping crochet and felting, expanding into spinning, weaving, knitting and creating recycled fibers and projects. Pandora has been working with Art Hives as a facilitator since 2012 and never looked back. Pandora’s art practice is grounded in found and recycled materials, textiles and textures.
