Rachel Partamian

Bio: Rachel is a Lebanese Armenian photographer , knitter and mixed media artist based in Montreal Canada. Having graduated with a BA in photography, she has worked as an on set photographer and a photojournalist in the Middle-East and North America.

Being a photography trainer and an instructor, she has given courses ranging from Introduction to advanced photography. Rachel also volunteered with many organizations such as “The Migrant Community Center” , “Anti-racism movement” organization , “Nasawiya”, the feminist collective , Indy-Act Act Zero waste campaign as well as Doctors Without Borders .

In 2013 Rachel started warming your heart, for knitting and embroidery with the desire to learn and preserve some of her grandmother's know-how. 

Today warming your heart creates limited knitting projects throughout the year in support of different charities and organizations.

Being passionate about photography and yarn , Rachel tries to merge both and create different projects that reflect and express personal and daily struggles.
